XMLMapped Range Control Events

Table 7.3 shows the events that are available for an XMLMappedRange control in VSTO.

Table 7.3. Events of the XMLMappedRange Control

Event

Description

BeforeDoubleClick

Raised when the XMLMappedRange control is double-clicked. The BeforeDoubleClick event handler of an XMLMappedRange control enables you to take action when a user doubleclicks text within an XML mapped range, before the default action occurs.

BeforeRightClick

Raised when the XMLMappedRange control is right-clicked. The BeforeRightClick event handler enables you to take action when a user right-clicks text within an XML mapped range, before the default action occurs.

BindingContextChanged

Raised when the binding context of the XMLMappedRange changes. The Binding-ContextChanged event handler enables you to take action when the BindingContext property of an XML mapped range is changed.

Change

Raised when the value of the XMLMapped range changes.

Deselected

Raised when focus within an XMLMappedRange is moved outside the named range.

Disposed

Raised when the XMLMappedRange is disposed of. This typically does not get raised until garbage collection is called to reclaim the memory that held the control.

Selected

Raised when the XMLMappedRange is selected. The Selected event handler enables you to take action when focus is moved to the XMLMappedRange.

SelectionChange

Raised when the selection within an XMLMappedRange changes.

The events available for the XMLMappedRange are identical to the events available on a NamedRange. For code examples, see the section on NamedRange events earlier in this chapter.
