Setting Debugger Options

First, you set some options in Visual Studio so that the debugger does not stop on all exceptions.

1. Click Debug in the Solution Configurations list box on the Standard toolbar.

2. On the Tools menu, click Options to open the Options dialog box.

3. Expand the Debugging node, clear the Break When Exceptions Cross AppDomain or Managed/Native Boundaries (Managed Only) check box, and click OK.

4. On the Debug menu, click Exceptions to open the Exceptions dialog box.

5. Clear the Thrown and User-unhandled check boxes next to the Common Language Runtime Exception node, and then click OK to close the dialog box.
