Resetting Debugger Options

Now you can go back into the debugging options and set the debugger options to stop on all exceptions.

1. On the Tools menu, click Options to open the Options dialog box.

2. Expand the Debugging node, select the Break When Exceptions Cross AppDomain or Managed/Native Boundaries (Managed Only) check box, and click OK.

3. On the Debug menu, click Exceptions to open the Exceptions dialog box.

4. Select the Thrown and User-unhandled check boxes next to the Common Language Runtime Exception node, and then click OK to close the dialog box.

5. Press F5 to run the code, and double-click Sheetl.

This time the solution opens, the application enters break mode, and the Exception Assistant displays the expected NullReferenceException, offering troubleshooting tips to resolve the error.
