The Deactivate event occurs when the Inspector window ceases to be the active window because of a user action or program code. The same cautions mentioned earlier regarding the Deactivate event of the Explorer window apply to the Inspector window. Do not display user interface elements in the Deactivate event procedure. The following procedure hides the built-in Clipboard Command bar. In the Deactivate event, you cannot use the Currentltem property to return properties of the item. If you attempt to use the Currentltem property, Outlook will generate an Object Not Found error.
