1. Right-click the control you want to define a field for, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu.

2. Click the Value tab.

3. Click Choose Field, point to the set of fields you want, and then click the field.

The sets of fields available in the field list in the Properties dialog box differ for each type of form. For example, if you create a Message form, the field list does not show the field categories for built-in forms, such as All Contact fields, All Appointment fields, and All Task fields. In addition, when you create a Message form, all user-defined fields are created in the Inbox, regardless of the active folder.
