To add column headings, you drag the fields you created earlier from the Field Chooser to the Column Heading row. To drag the fields to the Column Heading row

1. From the Field Set drop-down list box on the Field Chooser, select User-Defined Fields In Folder.

2. Drag the Comments Or Issues field from the Field Chooser to the Column Heading row, and position It to the right of the Business Phone column heading. The red double-arrow marker shows you where the new column heading will be inserted In the Column Heading row.

3. Drag the Wants To Participate field from the Field Chooser to the Column Heading row, and position It to the right of the Comments Or Issues column heading.

4. Drag the Does Not Want To Participate field from the Field Chooser to the Column Heading row, and position it to the right of the Wants To Participate column heading.

5. Drag the Primary Contact field from the Field Chooser to the Column Heading row, and position it to the right of the Does Not Want To Participate column heading.

Adjust the Column Widths to Best Fit

To resize columns, you right-click the column heading and then click Best Fit. To adjust the column widths

1. Right-click the Comments Or Issues column heading, and then click Best Fit.

2. Repeat for the Wants To Participate, Does Not Want To Participate, and Primary Contact column headings.

3. The view should now look similar to the view shown in Figure 3-7. Create the Beta Participants View

Next you create a view that shows only the people who are primary contacts and who have agreed to participate in the beta program. This view enables folder users to track what has been sent by beta coordinators and returned by beta participants. For example, once a contact agrees to participate in the beta program, you send him a beta agreement to read and sign. Then, once the beta agreement has been returned, you send him a beta package, complete with the product and necessary feedback forms.
