Displaying the Visual Basic Editor

To get the Visual Basic Editor onscreen in any Office program, choose Developer, Visual Basic. (Note, however, that for simplicity's sake, I use a single Office application—Excel— for the examples throughout this chapter.) Figure 2.2 shows the new window that appears (although bear in mind that the window you see may be slightly different).

^ You can also get to the Visual Basic Editor by pressing Alt+F11. In fact,this key combination is a toggle that switches you between the Visual Basic Editor and the current Office program.
