Chapter Summary

In this chapter you learned about many events that fire when the Access report is run. By writing your own event procedures you can specify what happens when the report is opened, activated/deactivated, or closed. You can also display a custom message when an error occurs or the report does not contain any data; or you can make last-minute changes to the report layout before it is printed or previewed.

In the next chapter, you will learn about events recognized by various form controls while working with a custom application.
