The VBA environment

To use the VBA environment (the VBE), first open a new workbook in Excel, then select: Tools > Macro >Visual Basic Editor. Alternatively, hit the keyboard combination [Alt] + [F11]. A window similar to that shown in Figure 3.2 will appear. This contains the title bar along with the Menu bar - a standard feature of all Windows applications - and the Standard toolbar.
