Each object in the Excel Object Model has corresponding properties. Use of these properties enables you to view or change the characteristics of the object. For example, you can use the Value property to change the value of a range in a Range collection.

You can also use properties to change an aspect of behavior for an object. For example, you use the Hidden property to hide or unhide an object.

To specify a property for an object, combine the object name with the property name, as follows:
