One of VBA's most important features is the capability to use functions that are stored in Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs). The examples in this section use common Windows API calls.
The API declarations that you can use depend on your version of Excel. If you attempt to use a 32-bit API function with 16-bit Excel 5, you'll get an error.
Similarly, if you attempt to use a 16-bit API function with 32-bit Excel 95 or later, you'll get an error.The examples in this section are for 32-bit Excel.
