Toggle Buttons

Toggle buttons are similar to check boxes in that they can be used to select buttons. But, unlike check boxes, toggle buttons can be easily configured to allow only one selection out of a group (see Figure 21.3).

A program can be used to allow only one item to be selected in a group, but toggle buttons have a property, Groupname, that does this automatically. Toggle buttons with the same GroupName are automatically grouped together. Within this grouping, only one button can be toggled on at a time. Selecting an option button automatically deselects the other buttons in the same group or frame. To prevent this behavior, either leave the GroupName property blank, or enter another name.
