Converting an Excel Workbook to an AddIn

Add-ins are typically managed by the Add-Ins dialog. This dialog presents an add-in name and description. You can control these by entering two particular properties for the file before you convert it to an add-in.

As shown in Figure 25.1, go to File, Properties and select the Summary tab. Fill in a name for the add-in in the Title field and fill in a short description in the Comments field.

There are now two ways to convert the file to an add-in. The first method is easier but has an annoying by-product. The second requires two steps, but gives you some extra control.
