List and Combo Boxes

Both list and combo boxes store a list of items defined in either design time, in runtime with VBA, or through a linked database form such as Access. Shown in Figure 4.1, list and combo boxes can be added to your forms using the Toolbox.

Whether you are building list and combo boxes manually or through a wizard, you must take into account many properties. The most common properties are listed in Table 4.1.

In addition to common properties, both list and combo boxes share two important methods for adding and removing items. In VBA they are appropriately called AddItem and RemoveItem.
