Access is an agile front end that leverages the power and capacity of SQL Server with its native rapid development environment and intuitive user interface features. By connecting to SQL Server using linked tables, developers and users receive the benefit of most of the new features in Access 2007. However, linked tables do not allow design change. If you need to modify the SQL structure or views, you still have the options of Access project files and ADPs.
