Lines and shading not only make a report look better, but they make it easier to read. In addition to interactive status, Access gives reports cool design features. Can you imagine being able to add vertical lines to a report just by clicking a control? Now you can.
You also get the complete set of graphical options to format the lines. Just go to Design view, pick a report section, and customize the grid lines. While you're at it, check out the Conditional Formatting dialog box. It couldn't be made any easier.
