The Property Scanner will search for custom strings throughout all of the properties or code in tables, queries, forms, reports, and modules. The search will look at essentially all Access objects. Then, the Property Scanner produces list of all the locations that the string was found. Developers can then click and go directly to the object in a specific string. Figure 3-23 shows the Property Scanner window and many of the options for setting search criteria.
The Property Scanner also allows for advanced search criteria, for saving criteria, and for saving search results. You can find out how to use the Property Scanner in Chapter 19, "Using the ADE Tools."
